Welcome back to another plus size ootd. I spent about 3 weeks trying to film an outfit wearing this kimono up on my YouTube beauty channel. For one reason or another it just wasn't happening, I had things going on, when I was ready it already too dark outside (I don't have a good quality camera or special lighting), I would be running late, or just forget. Until one Friday I was ready getting ready to go out to have dinner with my family. It was early afternoon I really wasn't rushed and when I finally finished getting ready it was still perfect outside. So I got to film and was also able to take pictures for a blog post yayyy
So can I just start off by saying that I am completely and utterly obsessed with this kimono. I had been looking for a kimono all summer long and being plus size it was a bit harder to find exactly what I wanted. Let's just say when I saw this one I almost jumped with joy at how beautiful it is. I love how it looks with my skin color how it is black but still has all these gorgeous color that are well in perfect for the last few weeks that I wore it in Summer and now for one of my two favorite seasons Fall!!!
I paired my outfit with everything black so that all the focus would be the kimono, and very minimal accessories. Although I did choose my beautiful Michael Kors handbag that is definitely a statement but I feel it brought the look together perfectly, making it a more dressy outfit.
